Every operator goes through licensing checks, document verification, and inspections before earning the Verified badge.

Digital Licensing & Renewals

A multi-step wizard captures applications, documents, and fees — renewals are automated with reminders.

Inspections & Compliance

Inspectors record site visits, photos, and findings. Compliance scores feed Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze tiers.

Verified Marketplace

Travelers discover only licensed businesses with ratings, gallery photos, and a transparent ZTDEP rating.

Interactive maps, category-coloured pins, and turn-by-turn directions to every destination and operator.

Research Dashboards

Real-time tourism statistics by province, category, and tier — for evidence-based policy.

Tourists scan a QR or enter the Tourism ID to instantly verify any business — anywhere, offline-ready.

Hierarchical Governance

HQ National Admin oversees Provincial Admins. No admin self-registers — all admins are approved.

Companion mobile and WhatsApp apps for operators, inspectors, and travelers — always in sync.

Governance

How ZTDEP is Administered

A hierarchical, accountable structure connecting national leadership to every province.

Tier 1

HQ National Admin

Oversees the entire platform. Approves provincial admin applications, audits all activity, and manages national policy.

Tier 2

Provincial Admins

One per province (10 in total). Approve/verify operator licences and inspections only within their jurisdiction.

Tier 3

Operators, Inspectors & Travelers

Operators apply for licences, inspectors carry out site visits, and travelers browse, book, and rate verified experiences.

Provincial admins cannot self-register without approval. Every admin application is reviewed by the HQ National Admin to prevent fraud and maintain governance integrity.
