Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Zimbabwe Tourism Digital Ecosystem Platform (ZTDEP), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate a tourism business in Zimbabwe to apply for a licence. Tourists and members of the public may browse the marketplace without registration.

3. Operator Obligations

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in all applications
  • Maintain valid insurance, licences, and permits as required by law
  • Comply with all Zimbabwean tourism regulations and standards
  • Keep business information updated on the platform
  • Pay all applicable fees on time

4. Licence Issuance

Issuance of a tourism licence is at the discretion of the ZTA Director. Applications may be rejected, returned for correction, or require re-inspection. A Tourism ID is assigned only upon final approval.

5. Marketplace Listings

Approved operators may list their business in the marketplace upon payment of the listing fee. ZTA reserves the right to remove listings that contain false information or violate these terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Submitting false or misleading information
  • Impersonating another business or individual
  • Attempting to circumvent payment or verification processes
  • Using the platform for unlawful activities

7. Limitation of Liability

ZTA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform. The platform is provided on an "as is" basis.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe.
