Great Zimbabwe is a ruined city that was once the capital of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe during the country's Late Iron Age. It is the largest stone structure in pre-colonial southern Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Great Enclosure is the most impressive structure, with walls up to 11 meters high.

How to Get There

Approximately 30km from Masvingo city. Accessible by road via A4 highway from Harare (290km) or Bulawayo (430km). Charter flights available to Masvingo Airport.
